Daniel Louis Armstrong

Purple Line

Photographed in Salem, Oregon at the State Fair sometime in the lates fifties or early sixties. Photographer unknown.

The negative for this image was found discarded in the trash behind the Salem, Oregon Statesman/Capitol Journal offices in the mid 1970s, and rescued by the late Dean Blakely. It hung for years in his photography store, and Dean kindly lent me a print to scan.
